1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The institution of marriage is one of the
3 cornerstones upon which our society is built, and a marriage
4 that has achieved a notable longevity is truly a model for
5 the people of the State of Illinois; and
6 WHEREAS, It has come to our attention that Mr. and Mrs.
7 Barthol "Butch" Imming of Aviston, Illinois, will celebrate
8 the sixtieth anniversary of their marriage; and
9 WHEREAS, Barthol "Butch" Imming and Frances "Fritz"
10 Armonaitis were united in holy matrimony on October 1, 1940
11 at St. Anthony Church in Beckemeyer; and
12 WHEREAS, They are the loving parents of three sons, Tom
13 and his wife, Dale, Jerry and his wife, Barbara, Dan and his
14 wife, Carol, and one daughter, Fritzie; and the grandparents
15 of ten wonderful grandchildren, Ruston, Colton, Kristine,
16 Patrick, Christopher, Cody, Cassie, Tanner, Kimberlee, and
17 Graham; they also have two lovely great-grandchildren, Kalee
18 and Peyton; and
19 WHEREAS, The respect for marriage reaches one of its
20 highest plateaus when a couple such as Barthol and Frances
21 celebrate their wedding anniversary; and
22 WHEREAS, Barthol and Frances stand as examples of the
23 best of our society, and their love and devotion to each
24 other and to their family and friends serve as a reminder to
25 all that hard work, dedication, and love can make a
26 difference in today's world; therefore, be it
27 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
28 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
29 we congratulate Barthol and Frances Imming on the occasion of
30 their sixtieth wedding anniversary; that we commend them for
31 achieving a long and happy marriage, blessed with children

1 and grandchildren and rich in friendships; and that we wish
2 them happiness and good health in the future; and be it
3 further
4 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
5 presented to them as an expression of our respect and esteem.
