1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are proud to recognize the Group Study
4 Exchange Team from Rotarian District 3810 to District 6460 in
5 the Philippine Islands, who are coming to Illinois as
6 ambassadors of peace and goodwill; and
7 WHEREAS, The Dream Team is headed by Charter President
8 Sue Villa-Sta. Maria, Deputy Governor and Deputy Secretary of
9 District 3810; Rotary International District 3810 is the
10 largest Rotary District in the world; it has 112 clubs with
11 over 4,000 members; and
12 WHEREAS, The State of Illinois acknowledges Daniel
13 "Danny" T. Yu, Past District Governor and TRF Chairman of
14 District 3810, Suzanne "Sue" Villa-Sta. Maria, GSE Team
15 Leader, and team members, Maria Lea "Lea" U. Luistro, Gladys
16 Mae "G" D. Paguio, Ericson "Eric" C. Aquino, Rommel "Rommel"
17 A. Esteban, and Gabriel "Gabby" H. Triponas as they come to
18 our great State; and
19 WHEREAS, Through the exchange of ideas and the making of
20 friendships, we can learn from this Philippine Dream Team,
21 and they from us; therefore, be it
22 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
23 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
24 we welcome the Group Study Exchange Dream Team from the
25 Philippine Islands to our State; may they find their visit
26 enjoyable, beneficial, and educational; and be it further
27 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
28 presented to Charter President Sue Villa-Sta. Maria, along
29 with our sincere regards.
