1 AN ACT concerning the DuPage County Forest Preserve
2 District.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The DuPage County Forest Preserve District
6 Tax Levy Validation (1988) Act is amended by changing Section
7 2 as follows:
8 (70 ILCS 855/2) (from Ch. 96 1/2, par. 6362)
9 Sec. 2. Tax levy in excess of authorized rate. Nothing
10 in this Act shall be construed as validating any tax levy in
11 excess of the rate of taxation authorized by law for any
12 fiscal year or for any purpose not permitted by the Illinois
13 Constitution.
