1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4478
2 AMENDMENT NO. _____ Amend House Bill 4478 on page 9,
3 immediately below line 32 by inserting the following:
4 "(f) Nothing in this Act shall be construed to authorize
5 a joint discussion representative to discuss with a health
6 care plan any plan policies to exclude, limit the
7 participation or reimbursement of, or otherwise limit the
8 contracted for services of health care providers not
9 represented by the health care provider's joint discussion
10 representative. Nothing in this Act shall be construed to
11 permit, require, or authorize any individual or group of
12 health care providers to provide services not within the
13 scope of their licenses or authorizations.".
