1 AN ACT in relation to State procurement.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Illinois Procurement Code is amended by
5 changing Section 50-50 as follows:
6 (30 ILCS 500/50-50)
7 Sec. 50-50. Insider information. It is unlawful for any
8 current or former elected or appointed State official or
9 State employee to knowingly use confidential information
10 available only by virtue of that office or employment for
11 actual or anticipated gain for himself or herself themselves
12 or another person.
