1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2489
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 2489, by deleting
3 everything after the enacting clause and replacing in lieu
4 thereof the following:
5 "Section 1. The following named amounts, or so much
6 thereof as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects
7 and purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated from the
8 State Lottery Fund to meet the ordinary and contingent
9 expenses of the Department of the Lottery, including
10 operating expenses related to Multi-State Lottery games
11 pursuant to the Illinois Lottery Law:

22 Section 2. The sum of $300,000,000, or so much thereof
23 as may be necessary, is appropriated from the State Lottery
24 Fund to the Department of the Lottery, for payment of prizes
25 to holders of winning lottery tickets or shares, including
26 prizes related to Multi-State Lottery games, pursuant to the
27 provisions of the "Illinois Lottery Law".
28 Section 3. The sum of $35,000, or so much thereof as may
29 be necessary, is appropriated from the State Lottery Fund to
30 the Illinois Department of the Lottery, for payment to the
31 Illinois State Police for investigatory services.
