 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2081

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 2081,  AS  AMENDED,
 3    as follows:

 4    by replacing the title with the following:

 5        "AN  ACT  to  amend  the  Cemetery  Care  Act by changing
 6    Section 15."; and

 7    by replacing everything after the enacting  clause  with  the
 8    following:

 9        "Section 5.  The Cemetery Care Act is amended by changing
10    Section 15 as follows:

11        (760 ILCS 100/15) (from Ch. 21, par. 64.15)
12        Sec.  15.  The  Comptroller  may, upon 10 days' notice to
13    the licensee, by United States mail directed to the  licensee
14    at  the  address  set  forth  in  the  license,  stating  the
15    contemplated  action  and,  in general, the grounds therefor,
16    and upon reasonable opportunity to be  heard  prior  to  such
17    action, revoke any license issued hereunder if he finds that:
18        (a)  The licensee has failed to make the annual report or
19    to  maintain in effect the required bond or to comply with an
20    order, decision, or finding of the Comptroller made  pursuant

 1    to this Act; or that
 2        (b)  The  licensee has violated any provision of this Act
 3    or any regulation or direction made by the Comptroller  under
 4    this Act; or that
 5        (c)  Any  fact or condition exists which would constitute
 6    grounds for denying an application for a new license,  if  it
 7    had  existed at the time of the original application for such
 8    license, would have warranted the Comptroller in refusing the
 9    issuance of the license.

11        Section 99.  Effective date.  This Act takes effect  upon
12    becoming law.".
