1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1735
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 1735 on page 2,
3 line 10, by deleting "shall" and inserting "shall upon
4 request"; and
5 on page 3, by replacing lines 1 through 6 with the following:
6 "(c) The Department shall recommend to day labor service
7 agencies, in counties with a population of 500,000 or
8 greater, to employ personnel who can effectively communicate
9 information required in subsections (a) and (b) to day
10 laborers in Spanish, Polish, or any other language that is
11 generally used in the locale of the day labor agency.".
