1 AN ACT to amend the Local Government Debt Offering Act by
2 changing Section 1.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Local Government Debt Offering Act is
6 amended by changing Section 1 as follows:
7 (30 ILCS 375/1) (from Ch. 85, par. 841)
8 Sec. 1. Intent. It is the intent of this Act to
9 facilitate, through State technical and advisory assistance,
10 the marketing of local government bonds and other long-term
11 obligations at the lowest possible net interest cost.
