1 AN ACT to amend the Public Utilities Act by changing
2 Section 13-501.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Public Utilities Act is amended by
6 changing Section 13-501 as follows:
7 (220 ILCS 5/13-501) (from Ch. 111 2/3, par. 13-501)
8 (Section scheduled to be repealed on July 1, 2001)
9 Sec. 13-501. Tariff filing; form. No telecommunications
10 carrier shall offer or provide telecommunications service
11 unless and until a tariff is filed with the Commission which
12 describes the nature of the service, applicable rates and
13 other charges, terms and conditions of service, and the
14 exchange, exchanges or other geographical area or areas in
15 which the service shall be offered or provided. The
16 Commission may prescribe the form of such tariff and any
17 additional data or information which shall be included
18 therein.
