PROP TX-EXEMPT SCHOOLS-TECH                                                

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Creates the Higher Education  Facilities  Support  Act  of  1997.      
   Creates  only  a  short title.  Amends the Property Tax Code by making      
   technical corrections in the  Section  concerning  the  exemption  for      
   schools.  Effective January 1, 1998.                                        
          STATE DEBT IMPACT NOTE                                               
          HB 2220 would not have an impact on the level of State debt.
