EPA-CLN AIR-RULEMAKNG                                                      

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Environmental Protection Act to extend the repeal date      
   of the provisions providing for fast-track rulemaking pursuant to  the      
   Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990.  Effective immediately.                   
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                 
        Deletes changes in underlying bill. Changes the  extended  repeal      
   date  for the fast-track Clean Air Act rules from December 31, 2007 to      
   December 31, 2002.  Provides that fast-track clean air  rules  may  be      
   adopted  under  a  method  otherwise provided for in the Environmental      
   Protection Act.
