Short description: MANAGD CARE RESPONSIBILITY ACT Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Creates the Managed Care Responsibility to Members Act. Provides for the regulation of managed care plans by the Department of Insurance. Creates specific patient rights to disclosure, quality of care, and confidentiality. Prohibits restraints on communications between physicians and patients. Requires the establishment of grievance procedures.
