Increases to one year (from 6 months) the length of authorized occupational therapy practice by a license applicant who has not yet passed (nor failed) the examination required for, but is otherwise qualified for, licensure. Effective immediately. STATE MANDATES FISCAL NOTE In the opinion of DCCA, HB655 fails to create a State mandate under the State Mandates Act. HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Replaces the change proposed by the bill as introduced with provisions requiring the Department, under specified circumstances, to extend the 6 month period for the practice of occupational therapy by a license applicant who has neither passed nor failed the examination required for licensure.
