Deletes requirement that applicants complete parts of the examination administered by the National Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners. Allows the Department to impose a fine not to exceed $5,000 (now, $2,500) upon a licensee for a violation enumerated in the Act. Provides that the Department must commence a disciplinary action for specified violations of the Act within 3 years of notification or complaint of the violation. Allows the Department or Podiatric Medical Licensing Board to compel a licensee or applicant to submit to a mental or physical examination upon a showing of a possible violation of the Act.
