POE-JOHNSON,TOM-KLINGLER-BLACK-MITCHELL, MOORE,EUGENE, KOSEL AND BOST. (MYERS,J) 305 ILCS 5/5-5d new Amends the Medicaid Article of the Public Aid Code. Provides that if the Department of Public Aid pays a provider of medical services an amount that is less than the correct amount of reimbursement for those services under the Code, the provider may recover the amount of the underpayment from the Department, including by means of setoff against the amount of any overpayment made by the Department to the provider.
