90_SR0208 LRB9012245CBcb 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Senate are saddened to learn 3 of the death of Richard Loy, Sr. of Wadsworth on May 4, 1998; 4 and 5 WHEREAS, He was born in Waukegan on February 26, 1948; he 6 was President of Arrow Moving and Storage in Winthrop Harbor; 7 and 8 WHEREAS, He was a former member of the Zion Lions Club, 9 the Zion-Benton Moose Lodge, and the Waukegan City Club; he 10 currently was a member of the National Federation of 11 Independent Business and the Winthrop Harbor Chamber of 12 Commerce; and 13 WHEREAS, He was also a member of Our Lady of Humility 14 Church and served as the Athletic Director and coach at the 15 church school; and 16 WHEREAS, His passing will be deeply felt by his family 17 and friends, especially his wife, Bonnie; his children, Rick, 18 Lori Taylor, Corey, and Brooke; his daughters-in-law, Kellie 19 and Michelle; his son-in-law, Bill Taylor; his grandson, 20 Kyle; and his brothers and sisters, Cindy Tackitt, Lynn 21 Palmer, Ron Loy, Bruce Loy, Robert Loy, and Lisa Pitts; 22 therefore, be it 23 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY 24 OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we note with sorrow and regret 25 the death of Richard Loy, Sr. and wish to extend our sincere 26 condolences to his family and friends; and be it further 27 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 28 presented to his widow, Bonnie Loy.
