1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3 to learn of the death of Nancy Kelly of Peoria, Illinois; and
4 WHEREAS, Nancy Kelly was born in Peoria, Illinois on July
5 24, 1948; her parents are Dorothy F. Evans and the late
6 Robert S. Evans; and
7 WHEREAS, Nancy Kelly married John L. Kelly Sr., on March
8 13, 1976; Nancy was a fashion consultant at Doncaster
9 Clothing Co.; she was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church
10 in Peoria Heights and a member of Women's Cursillo No. 25;
11 she was a girl scout leader and served on the board of the
12 Kickapoo Council of Girl Scouts; and
13 WHEREAS, Nancy Kelly is survived by her husband, John
14 Kelly; by her mother, Dorothy Evans; by her two daughters,
15 Julia and Rachel Kelly; by her two sons, John Jr. and Brian;
16 and her three brothers, Terrance Evans, Roland Evans, and
17 Brian Evans; therefore, be it
18 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY
19 OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her
20 family and friends, the death of Nancy Kelly of Peoria,
21 Illinois; may there be peace in this time of need; and be it
22 further
23 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
24 presented to the family of Nancy Kelly.
