1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Senate learned with great
3 sadness of the death of Seth Jonas Dunscomb of Sullivan on
4 Wednesday, January 22, 1997; and
5 WHEREAS, He was born in Decatur on July 8, 1975, the son
6 of Richard M. and Connie Moentnish Dunscomb; and
7 WHEREAS, A graduate of Sullivan High School, Seth
8 Dunscomb was a senior at the University of Kansas, majoring
9 in mechanical engineering; and
10 WHEREAS, An honor student, he was also co-captain of the
11 University of Kansas swim team; and
12 WHEREAS, Seth Dunscomb had a smile that could light up a
13 room; he was always surrounded by friends and his warm and
14 caring nature will be deeply missed; and
15 WHEREAS, His passing is deeply felt by his family and
16 countless friends, especially his parents, Richard and
17 Connie; his brother, Justin; and his grandparents, Richard
18 and Maude Dunscomb; therefore, be it
19 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY
20 OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we note with sorrow and regret
21 the death of Seth Jonas Dunscomb and extend our sincere
22 condolences to his family and friends; and be it further
23 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
24 presented to his parents, Richard and Connie Dunscomb.
