Amends the School Code to make a technical correction in
a Section dealing with the payment of funds to school
treasurers.

1 AN ACT to amend the School Code by changing Section
2 18-13.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The School Code is amended by changing Section
6 18-13 as follows:
7 (105 ILCS 5/18-13) (from Ch. 122, par. 18-13)
8 Sec. 18-13. Notice to school officers of amount in
9 treasurer's hands.
10 On or before September 30 of each year the county
11 collectors, regional county superintendents of schools,
12 township collectors, and all other persons paying money into
13 the hands of school treasurers for school purposes, shall
14 notify in writing the presidents of school trustees and
15 clerks or secretaries of school boards of the amount paid
16 into the treasurer's hands and the date of payment.
