Amends the Illinois Sports Facilities Authority Act.
Provides that no televised replays may be shown in skyboxes
unless the same replays are shown on the projection
television screens that supplement the scoreboard. Effective
immediately.

1 AN ACT to amend the Illinois Sports Facilities Authority
2 Act by adding Section 8.5.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Illinois Sports Facilities Authority Act
6 is amended by adding Section 8.5 as follows:
7 (70 ILCS 3205/8.5 new)
8 Sec. 8.5. Television in the facility. No replays of
9 portions of athletic events in the facility may be shown on
10 television in the facility's skyboxes, concourses, or similar
11 areas unless the same replays, and at the same time, are
12 shown on the projection television screens that supplement
13 the scoreboard.
14 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
15 becoming law.
