Appropriates $8,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to
the Department of Veterans' Affairs for a grant to the
LaSalle Veterans Home for the construction of additional
beds. Effective July 1, 1998.

1 AN ACT making appropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The amount of $8,000,000, or so much of that
5 amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General
6 Revenue Fund to the Department of Veterans' Affairs for a
7 grant to the LaSalle Veterans Home for the construction of
8 additional beds.
9 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on
10 July 1, 1998.
