Makes various appropriations to the Court of Claims.

1 AN ACT making appropriations to the Court of Claims.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The following named amounts, or so much
5 thereof as may be necessary, are appropriated to the Court of
6 Claims for its ordinary and contingent expenses:
7 CLAIMS ADJUDICATION
8 Payable from the General Revenue Fund:
9 For Personal Services........................... $ 785,000
10 For State Contribution to State Employees'
11 Retirement System........................... 40,000
12 For Employee Retirement Contributions
13 Paid by Employer............................ 31,400
14 For State Contribution to Social Security....... 55,300
15 For Contractual Services........................ 35,200
16 For Travel...................................... 13,200
17 For Commodities................................. 6,000
18 For Printing.................................... 4,000
19 For Equipment................................... 5,000
20 For Electronic Data Processing.................. 1,500
21 For Telecommunications Services................. 3,500
22 For Reimbursement for Incidental
23 Expenses Incurred by Judges................... 35,300
24 Total $1,015,400
25 Section 10. The amount of $120,000, or so much thereof
26 as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Court of Claims
27 Administration and Grant Fund to the Court of Claims for
28 administrative expenses under the Crime Victims Compensation
29 Act.
30 Section 15. The following named amounts, or so much

1 thereof as may be necessary, are appropriated to the Court of
2 Claims for payment of claims as follows:
3 For claims under the Crime Victims
4 Compensation Act:
5 Payable from General Revenue Fund............. $13,500,000
6 For claims other than Crime Victims:
7 Payable from the General Revenue Fund......... 3,100,000
8 Payable from Road Fund........................ 650,000
9 Total $17,250,000
10 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July
11 1, 1997.
