Amends the support enforcement Article of the Illinois
Public Aid Code. Makes a technical change in provisions
regarding notice to the clerk of the circuit court of support
payments received by the Department of Public Aid.

1 AN ACT to amend the Illinois Public Aid Code by changing
2 Section 10-10.2.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Illinois Public Aid Code is amended by
6 changing Section 10-10.2 as follows:
7 (305 ILCS 5/10-10.2) (from Ch. 23, par. 10-10.2)
8 Sec. 10-10.2. Notice to Clerk of Circuit Court of
9 Payment Received by the Illinois Department for Recording.
10 For those cases in which support is payable to the clerk of
11 the circuit court for transmittal to the Illinois Department
12 by order of court, and the Illinois Department collects
13 support by assignment, offset, withholding, deduction or
14 other process permitted by law, the Illinois Department shall
15 notify the clerk of the date and amount of the such
16 collection. Upon notification, the clerk shall record the
17 collection on the payment record for the case.
