1 AN ACT to amend the Illinois Vehicle Code by changing
2 Section 11-211.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Illinois Vehicle Code is amended by
6 changing Section 11-211 as follows:
7 (625 ILCS 5/11-211) (from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 11-211)
8 Sec. 11-211. Local Laws. No owner of a motor vehicle
9 shall be limited as to speed upon any public place, at any
10 time when the same is or may hereafter be opened to the use
11 of persons having or using other vehicles, nor be required to
12 comply with other provisions or conditions as to the use of
13 these such motor vehicles except as in this Chapter provided,
14 and except as is provided in this Act.
