Provides that a recipient of public aid who is employed for at least 20 hours per week is eligible for supportive services, including but not limited to child care and transportation, in order to enable the recipient to engage in education or training to enhance his or her employability or wage earning potential. The Illinois Public Aid Code is amended by 6 adding Section 9-6.5 as follows: 7 (305 ILCS 5/9-6.5 new) 8 Sec. 9-6.5. Supportive services. A recipient who is 9 employed for at least 20 hours per week is eligible for 10 supportive services, including but not limited to child care 11 and transportation, in order to enable the recipient to 12 engage in education or training to enhance his or her 13 employability or wage-earning potential.
