1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 331
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 331 on page 1, by
3 replacing lines 12 through 21 with the following:
4 "recipient fails to fulfill such obligation. A scholarship
5 recipient who fails to fulfill the obligation described in
6 subsection (d) of Section 3.07 shall have 30 days from the
7 date on which that failure begins in which to enter into a
8 contract with the Department that sets forth the manner in
9 which that sum is required to be paid. If the contract is
10 not entered into within that 30 day period or if the contract
11 is entered into but the required payments are not made in the
12 amounts and at the times provided in the contract, the
13 scholarship recipient also shall be required to pay to the
14 Department interest at the rate of 9% per annum on the amount
15 of that sum remaining due and unpaid. The".
