Amend Senate Bill 172, AS AMENDED, 3 in the introductory clause of Section 1.5 by changing "and 4 11-6.5" to ", 11-6.5, 11-15.1, and 11-19.1"; and 5 by inserting after the last line of Sec. 11-6.5 of Section 6 1.5 the following: 7 "(720 ILCS 5/11-15.1) (from Ch. 38, par. 11-15.1) 8 Sec. 11-15.1. Soliciting for a Juvenile Prostitute. (a) 9 Any person who violates any of the provisions of Section 10 11-15(a) of this Act commits soliciting for a juvenile 11 prostitute where the prostitute for whom such person is 12 soliciting is under 1716years of age or is an 13 institutionalized severely or profoundly mentally retarded 14 person. 15 (b) It is an affirmative defense to a charge of 16 soliciting for a juvenile prostitute that the accused 17 reasonably believed the person was of the age of 1716years 18 or over or was not an institutionalized severely or 19 profoundly mentally retarded person at the time of the act 20 giving rise to the charge. 21 (c) Sentence. 22 Soliciting for a juvenile prostitute is a Class 1 felony. -2- LRB9000810RCksam09 1 (Source: P.A. 85-1392.) 2 (720 ILCS 5/11-19.1) (from Ch. 38, par. 11-19.1) 3 Sec. 11-19.1. Juvenile Pimping. 4 (a) Any person who receives any money, property, token, 5 object, or article or anything of value from a prostitute 6 under 1716years of age or from a prostitute who is an 7 institutionalized severely or profoundly mentally retarded 8 person, not for a lawful consideration, knowing it was earned 9 in whole or in part from the practice of prostitution, 10 commits juvenile pimping. 11 (b) It is an affirmative defense to a charge of juvenile 12 pimping that the accused reasonably believed the person was 13 of the age of 1716years or over or was not an 14 institutionalized severely or profoundly mentally retarded 15 person at the time of the act giving rise to the charge. 16 (c) Sentence. 17 Juvenile pimping is a Class 1 felony. 18 (Source: P.A. 88-680, eff. 1-1-95.)".
