The Criminal Code of 1961 is amended by 6 changing Section 3-1 as follows: 7 (720 ILCS 5/3-1) (from Ch. 38, par. 3-1) 8 Sec. 3-1. Presumption of innocence and proof of guilt. 9 Every person is presumed innocent until proved guilty.
