1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 80
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 80 on page 1, in
3 line 16, before "reuse", by inserting "unregulated"; and
4 on page 1, in line 28, after "device.", by inserting the
5 following:
6 "However, this Section does not apply to persons who utilize,
7 recycle or reprocess for utilization, or provide for
8 utilization a single-use surgical device that has been
9 reprocessed by an entity or person registered with and
10 regulated by the United States Food and Drug Administration
11 or reprocessed by a hospital licensed under the Hospital
12 Licensing Act or the University of Illinois Hospital Act.".
