1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are proud to recognize significant milestones
4 in the lives of the its citizens; and
5 WHEREAS, The Illinois House of Representatives wishes to
6 recognize, for his dedication and outstanding service to the
7 General Assembly, Representative Vincent A. Persico on
8 attaining the half century mark; therefore, be it
9 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
10 NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
11 congratulate Representative Persico on attaining his big
12 fiftieth birthday; may he continue to have good health and
13 happiness in his future; and be it further
14 RESOLVED, Accordingly, we urge the Governor and the
15 General Assembly to approve a specific and special 5+5
16 retirement plan, as Representative Persico has now reached
17 middle age and can no longer deal with the rigors of life in
18 the General Assembly; and be it further
19 RESOLVED, In addition to the normal compensation afforded
20 under 5+5, we recommend provisions, provided by the State
21 Health Insurance Plan, for a lifetime supply of Viagra,
22 expected not to exceed four pills; and be it further
23 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
24 presented to Representative Persico, along with our sincere
25 regards.
