1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of this Body are happy to recognize
3 individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the
4 well-being of the citizens of this State; and
5 WHEREAS, It has come to our attention that Jack "Red"
6 Anderson has announced his retirement as Lake County
7 Treasurer; and
8 WHEREAS, He was elected Treasurer in November of 1978; he
9 started working in the Treasurer's Office in August of 1958;
10 and
11 WHEREAS, He was born in Waukegan and resided in Gurnee
12 for thirty-five years; and
13 WHEREAS, He has been supported throughout his public and
14 private life by his wife, Betty; his children, Kurt, Chris,
15 Jack and Jill; and ten grandchildren; therefore, be it
16 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
17 NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
18 congratulate Jack L. Anderson on retiring as Lake County
19 Treasurer after forty years of County service and wish him
20 the best in the future; and be it further
21 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
22 presented to Jack "Red" Anderson with the best wishes of
23 Representatives Corinne Wood, Verna Clayton, Mark Beaubien,
24 Beth Coulson, Lauren Beth Gash, Andrea Moore, and Robert
25 Churchill and all the members of this House.
