1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives wish to congratulate those individuals
4 recently inducted into the Mater Dei Hall of Honor; and
5 WHEREAS, Patrick Hitpas, a 1965 graduate of Mater Dei, is
6 a circuit judge in the Fourth Judicial Circuit of Illinois;
7 Judge Hitpas has a Bachelor's of Science in accounting from
8 St. Joseph College in Rensselaer, Indiana; Judge Hitpas
9 earned his Juris Doctor from St. Louis University before
10 beginning his professional law career; Judge Hitpas has
11 presided at 100 trials as a trial judge; and
12 WHEREAS, Judge Hitpas and his wife, Carol, have four
13 children, all of whom are Mater Dei alumni or current
14 students; therefore, be it
15 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
16 NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
17 congratulate Judge Patrick Hitpas on being inducted into the
18 Mater Dei Hall of Honor; and be it further
19 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
20 presented to Judge Patrick Hitpas.
