1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are happy to congratulate Pete Muffler on the
4 occasion of his 50th year of service as an active Morris,
5 Illinois fireman; and
6 WHEREAS, Pete Muffler started with the Morris Volunteer
7 Fire Department on June 7, 1948; he is currently President of
8 the Fire Department; and
9 WHEREAS, Mr. Muffler is President of the Grundy County
10 Corn Festival Committee, where he has served for fifty years;
11 he is on the board of the Morris Building and Loan Bank; and
12 he is a member and past president of the Morris Lions Club;
13 and
14 WHEREAS, Pete Muffler is married to Francis and they have
15 one daughter, Francis Audrey Ryder; therefore, be it
16 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
17 NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
18 congratulate Pete Muffler on fifty years of service with the
19 Morris Volunteer Fire Department; he should be proud of
20 obtaining such a great record; and be it further
21 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
22 presented to Pete Muffler, along with our sincere regards.
