1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives wish to congratulate New Trier student
4 Michael Schwall on being named Youth of the Year by the
5 Wilmette Chamber of Commerce; and
6 WHEREAS, Michael Schwall is a senior at New Trier High
7 School and a member of the Youth Leadership Board at the
8 Youth Resource Foundation Warming House Youth Center; and
9 WHEREAS, Michael Schwall has participated in fund-raising
10 projects for the Village Atrium Retirement Community and has
11 worked with the Police Department at the Community Fair;
12 working at the Warming House, Michael coordinates activities
13 and fund-raising as well as welcomes new teens to the center;
14 and
15 WHEREAS, After his graduation from New Trier, Michael
16 plans to work and attend Oakton Community College, where he
17 will pursue a career in social work; therefore, be it
18 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
19 NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
20 congratulate Michael Schwall on being named Youth of the Year
21 by the Wilmette Chamber of Commerce; and be it further
22 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
23 presented to Michael Schwall, along with our warmest regards.
