1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives wish to congratulate the Rotary Club of
4 Bushnell, Illinois on the celebration of their seventy-fifth
5 anniversary; and
6 WHEREAS, On February 27, 1998 the Rotary Club of
7 Bushnell, Illinois will be celebrating their anniversary with
8 a dinner and festivities; and
9 WHEREAS, In 1905 Rotary International was founded by a
10 lawyer named Paul Harris; for the last ninety years Rotary
11 Clubs around the world have seen their membership increase to
12 1,214,000 Rotarians; there are 28,800 Rotary Clubs consisting
13 of 521 districts in 155 countries throughout the world; and
14 WHEREAS, Bushnell's Rotary Club is part of Rotary
15 International District 6460; they are a proud part of the
16 community, providing many needed and important services to
17 the people in and around their community; therefore, be it
18 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
19 NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
20 congratulate the Rotary Club of Bushnell, Illinois on the
21 occasion of their seventy-fifth anniversary; may they
22 continue to be a valued part of their community in the
23 future; and be it further
24 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
25 presented to the Rotary Club of Bushnell, Illinois.
