1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives wish to honor Jack Nelson on his retirement
4 from the Deerfield-Bannockburn-Riverwoods Chamber of Commerce
5 on November 30, 1997; and
6 WHEREAS, Jack Nelson has served his community as the
7 Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce since June of
8 1992; and
9 WHEREAS, Jack Nelson grew up in Port Huron, Michigan,
10 located on the shores of the Great Lake Huron; and
11 WHEREAS, Jack Nelson spent twenty-five years working for
12 Allstate; and
13 WHEREAS, Jack Nelson is married to Sharon, and they have
14 one son, John; and
15 WHEREAS, After consulting with the
16 Deerfield-Bannockburn-Riverwoods Chamber of Commerce, Jack
17 Nelson will be retiring West, to the sunny state of Arizona;
18 therefore, be it
19 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
20 NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
21 honor Jack Nelson for his hard work with and dedication to
22 the Deerfield-Bannockburn-Riverwoods Chamber of Commerce and
23 to the community; may he enjoy his new life in sunny Arizona;
24 and be it further
25 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
26 presented to Jack Nelson.
