1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives wish to congratulate Jack and Sara Lipson on
4 the celebration of their fiftieth wedding anniversary; and
5 WHEREAS, Jack and Sara Lipson were married in Chicago,
6 Illinois, on November 16, 1947; and
7 WHEREAS, Prior to his retirement, Jack Lipson served as
8 Director of Advertising at Helene Curtis for thirty years;
9 Jack now volunteers at SCORE, consulting with people who need
10 help in starting their own business; Sara Lipson is a
11 homemaker and has previously worked as an Executive Secretary
12 at Scott Foresman; and
13 WHEREAS, Jack and Sara Lipson are the proud parents of
14 Mark and Paula Lipson; they are also the proud grandparents
15 of Jenna, Emily, and Sam Lipson; therefore, be it
16 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
17 NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
18 congratulate Jack and Sara Lipson on this anniversary;
19 together they set an example of love to future generations;
20 and be it further
21 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
22 presented to Jack and Sara Lipson of Highland Park, Illinois.
