90_HR0139 LRB9005645CBcb 1 HOUSE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the House were saddened to learn 3 of the death of Mrs. Anne Rayner Childs of Chicago on March 4 20, 1997; and 5 WHEREAS, She was born in Chicago on November 22, 1919, 6 the daughter of Ahmed A. Rayner, Sr. and Suzanne Schwendel 7 Rayner; she was a graduate of McCosh Elementary School and 8 Englewood High School; and 9 WHEREAS, She was one of the founders of A. A. Rayner & 10 Sons Funeral Home, along with her father and brothers; today, 11 the business is in its third generation and is celebrating 12 fifty years serving Chicago's southside; and 13 WHEREAS, Anne Rayner Childs will be deeply missed by her 14 family and friends, especially her daughter, Enna Sue; her 15 son, Charles, Jr.; her grandchildren, Zachary, Charles, 16 Louis, and Renee; her great-grandsons, Devonta and Mario; her 17 daughter-in-law, Karen; and her son-in-law, Raymond; 18 therefore, be it 19 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 20 NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 21 note with sorrow and regret the death of Mrs. Anne Rayner 22 Childs and extend our sincere condolences to her family and 23 friends; and be it further 24 RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be 25 presented to the family of Mrs. Anne Rayner Childs.
