1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, It has come to our attention that Ken P. Lambert
3 has been elected to hold the office of President of Local
4 211L of the Bricklayers and Allied Craftsmen Union in
5 Chicago; and
6 WHEREAS, A fourth generation bricklayer, Ken Lambert also
7 holds the position of Chairman of District Council #1; and
8 WHEREAS, In November of 1989, Ken Lambert was hired as
9 apprentice instructor for the 18th Street Development
10 Corporation; and
11 WHEREAS, He was appointed to District Council #1 as
12 representative and organizer in January of 1991 and named
13 district manager/vice president for Local 211L in March of
14 1996; and
15 WHEREAS, He has been supported in both his public and
16 private life by his wife Linda and his sons, Sam, Jake, and
17 Luke; therefore, be it
18 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
19 NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
20 congratulate Ken Lambert on being elected President of Local
21 211L of the Bricklayers and Allied Craftsmen Union, commend
22 him for providing leadership in his field, and extend to him
23 our best wishes for continued success in the future; and be
24 it further
25 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
26 presented to Ken Lambert as an expression of our esteem.
