1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives have
3 learned of the retirement of Geraldine Perry from the Chicago
4 Police Department; and
5 WHEREAS, Geraldine Perry was born and raised in the City
6 of Chicago; in 1966 she began a distinguished career as a law
7 enforcement officer for the Chicago Police Department; and
8 WHEREAS, Currently Geraldine Perry holds the rank of
9 Police Lieutenant on the Chicago Police Department; and
10 WHEREAS, Geraldine Perry has made the decision to spend
11 quality time with her four children Marylou, Frank, Karen,
12 and Tony; her seven grandchildren Jennifer, Anthony, James,
13 Hillary, Max, Stephanie, and Jose, as well as other relatives
14 and friends; therefore, be it
15 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
16 NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
17 recognize the career, achievements, and service of Geraldine
18 Perry of the Chicago Police Department; and extend to her and
19 her family our best wishes for her future; and be it further
20 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
21 presented to Geraldine Perry.
