1 HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, On July 1, 1993, the Eighty-Eighth General
3 Assembly adopted Senate Joint Resolution 14, which authorized
4 the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority to expand the
5 Illinois toll highway system by:
6 extending the North-South Tollway from Interstate 55
7 "south and easterly to a point terminating at Interstate
8 I-57";
9 "extending Illinois Route 53 from Lake-Cook Road to
10 Illinois Route 120 then east to Interstate I-94"; and
11 "extending the North-South tollway at Illinois Route
12 120 to the Illinois-Wisconsin border near Richmond,
13 Illinois"; therefore, be it
14 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
15 NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE
16 SENATE CONCURRING HEREIN, that the authorization to expand
17 the Illinois toll highway system contained in Senate Joint
18 Resolution 14 of the Eighty-Eighth General Assembly shall
19 continue in full force and effect until June 30, 1998; and
20 that upon that date, the authorization to expand the Illinois
21 toll highway system contained in Senate Joint Resolution 14
22 of the Eighty-Eighth General Assembly shall become void.
