1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3753
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 3753 by replacing
3 the title with the following:
4 "AN ACT to amend the Criminal Code of 1961 by changing
5 Section 24-3A."; and
6 by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the
7 following:
8 "Section 5. The Criminal Code of 1961 is amended by
9 changing Section 24-3A as follows:
10 (720 ILCS 5/24-3A)
11 Sec. 24-3A. Gunrunning.
12 (a) A person commits gunrunning when he or she transfers
13 3 or more firearms in violation of any of the paragraphs of
14 Section 24-3 of this Code.
15 (b) Sentence. A person who commits gunrunning is guilty
16 of a Class X 1 felony.
