1 AN ACT to amend the Illinois Insurance Code by changing
2 Section 367c.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Illinois Insurance Code is amended by
6 changing Section 367c as follows:
7 (215 ILCS 5/367c) (from Ch. 73, par. 979c)
8 Sec. 367c. No claim shall be denied, under any group
9 accident and health policy delivered or renewed in this State
10 after the effective date of this Amendatory Act, for
11 treatment or services for mental illness rendered in a
12 hospital solely because the such hospital lacks surgical
13 facilities.
