1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3492
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 3492 on page 1,
3 line 15, after "his" by inserting "or her"; and
4 on page 1, by replacing lines 22 through 24 with the
5 following:
6 "writing of his or her right to appeal and, if he or she is
7 indigent, of his or her right to a free transcript and
8 counsel. The cost of the transcript shall be paid pursuant
9 to subsection (c) of Section 3-818 and subsection"; and
10 on page 2, line 28, after "his" by inserting "or her"; and
11 on page 3, by replacing lines 1 through 3 with the following:
12 "order, the court shall notify the client of his or her right
13 to appeal and, if he or she is indigent, of his or her right
14 to a free transcript and counsel. The cost of the transcript
