The Liquor Control Act of 1934 is amended by 6 changing Section 6-14 as follows: 7 (235 ILCS 5/6-14) (from Ch. 43, par. 129) 8 Sec. 6-14. Retail sales on Sundays. No person shall 9 sell at retail any alcoholic liquor on Sundays unless 10 authorized by general ordinance or resolution of the city 11 council, president and board of trustees, or county board, as 12 the case may be; provided, however that the city council, 13 president and board of trustees, or county board, as the case 14 may be, may further restrict the permissible hours for the 15 sale of alcoholic liquors under such licenses in its 16 political subdivision as the public good and convenience may 17 require. 18 (Source: P.A. 82-783.)
