Amend House Bill 3386, AS AMENDED, 3 with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment 4 No. 1, on page 4, line 23, after the period, by inserting the 5 following: 6 "The pilots may be limited to one or more sites within the 7 counties chosen and do not need to be conducted 8 county-wide."; and 9 on page 4, immediately below line 29, by inserting the 10 following: 11 "Implementation of the pilot projects provided for under 12 this Section by this amendatory Act of 1998 is conditioned 13 upon the General Assembly's appropriation of sufficient funds 14 from the General Revenue Fund to reimburse the Child Support 15 Enforcement Trust Fund for the following: the portion of the 16 child support payments passed through to the project 17 assistance units which is equal to either (i) two-thirds of 18 the monthly support collected on behalf of each member of the 19 assistance unit or (ii) the first $50 paid as monthly support 20 on each judicial or administrative child support order on 21 behalf of a member of the assistance unit, whichever is 22 greater. Child support payments shall be passed through to 23 project assistance units only to the extent of any such -2- LRB9010252SMdvam03 1 appropriation. Continuation of the pilot projects provided 2 for in this Section shall be contingent upon General Revenue 3 Fund Appropriation for reimbursement for each year of the 4 pilot projects."; and 5 on page 4, line 30, by replacing "The" with the following: 6 "For those families not covered by the pilot projects 7 provided for in this Section, the"; and 8 on page 5, line 3, after the period, by inserting the 9 following: 10 "Implementation of the $50 pass through of child support to 11 families receiving assistance provided for in this paragraph 12 is conditioned upon the General Assembly's appropriation of 13 sufficient funds from the General Revenue Fund to reimburse 14 the Child Support Enforcement Trust Fund for the following: 15 the portion of the child support payments passed through to 16 the assistance units which represents the first $50 paid as 17 monthly support on each judicial or administrative child 18 support order. Payments from additional support orders shall 19 be passed through to the assistance unit only to the extent 20 of any such appropriation. Continuation of these payments 21 shall be contingent upon General Revenue Fund appropriation 22 for reimbursement each fiscal year.".
