1 AN ACT to amend the Revised Cities and Villages Act of
2 1941 by changing Section 21-5a.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Revised Cities and Villages Act of 1941
6 is amended by changing Section 21-5a as follows:
7 (65 ILCS 20/21-5a) (from Ch. 24, par. 21-5a)
8 Sec. 21-5a. Mayoral runoff election; Passover. Whenever
9 the date for the runoff election of the mayor of the city of
10 Chicago conflicts with the celebration of Passover, that
11 election shall be postponed to the first Tuesday following
12 the last day of Passover.
