Appropriates the sum of $1 to the Department of Human
Services for its ordinary and contingent expenses as the
successor to the Department of Mental Health and
Developmental Disabilities. Effective July 1, 1998.

1 AN ACT making an appropriation to the Department of Human
2 Services for its ordinary and contingent expenses.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 1. The sum of $1, or so much of that amount as
6 may be necessary, is appropriated to the Department of Human
7 Services for its ordinary and contingent expenses as the
8 successor to the Department of Mental Health and
9 Developmental Disabilities.
10 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July
11 1, 1998.
