Appropriates $10,000,000, or so much thereof as may be
necessary, from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois
River Restoration and Conservation Grant Fund to be used by
the Illinois River Coordinating Council to administer the
Illinois River Restoration and Conservation Grant Act.

1 AN ACT making an appropriation to the Illinois River
2 Restoration and Conservation Grant Fund.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The sum of $10,000,000, or so much thereof as
6 may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
7 Fund to the Illinois River Coordinating Council created under
8 the Illinois River Restoration and Conservation Grant Act, of
9 which $100,000 may be used by the Council to support
10 administrative and travel expenses incurred by Council
11 members in the course of performing duties required under
12 that Act, and the balance of which shall be allocated by the
13 Council to fund grants awarded under that Act.
14 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July
15 1, 1997.
